Secret Shopper surveys are conducted to validate contract requirements for appointment availability, GeoAccess to measure geographic availability of providers, determine unduplicated providers, acceptance of new members, and validate provider directories (paper and electronic).  It can be used by MCOs, ACOs, and state agencies who require specific information about their provider panel.

The Secret Shopper survey can be segregated by provider type or specialty, geography and customized to meet the needs of the client. By selecting a randomized statistically significant pool of providers, PTM captures relevant criteria through a telephonic survey conducted by trained surveyors.

PTM offers a customized electronic application tool to document findings.  This tool is customized to meet the clients’ needs. The results can be analyzed in several ways to improve provider networks, online directories, provider education and contractual language and/or renewals.
