What’s in a Name?
PROTeam Management started as Peer Review Organization Team Management, now known as Quality Improvement Organizations (QIOs), are entities contracted by Medicare to ensure quality care and appropriate utilization for beneficiaries. They review complaints, manage appeals for discharges, and ensure services are necessary, acting to improve health outcomes and protect the Medicare Trust.
From our clients we earned the nickname PTM, and it stuck.
As we collaborated with clients, understood their unique needs, and delivered superior results, we earned their trust and opportunities to support their efforts in new areas. Our clients supported the expansion to a full-service offering based on client opportunities.
